Does .13 C Matter if .15 C Doesn’t?

There is very interesting post over at Steve McIntyre’s blog about the recent changes to the NASA surface temperature data. Hansen has dismissed the attention to the latest temp adjustements by saying that the difference is less than .15 C so it doesn’t matter.

McIntyre shows that if you track from 1930 the total increase to today is just .13 C using the new data.

This is great numerical judo.
